It is vital know exactly when your prospects have opened your emails! Install a small piece of FREE software called Message Tag from www.msgtag.com. Message tag tells you exactly when your prospect opens your email and it is simple to download and install on your computer. It is so much easier to say to your prospect "(Name), I see you have read my email, what do you think?", than having to say, "(Name), I am just calling to see if you have read my email yet?" |

So, where do you start? |
The best way to find your first 5 members is to go to the people that you are closest to and ask them to take a look at your new business.
Now, if this sounds like a scary thing to do, or your saying to yourself, "I don't want to talk to my friends", don't worry.
We will show you a way to approach them that keeps you in control and takes the fear out of the process! Start with a list of 20 to 30 people who you would most like to join you in your business. and get those names down on paper. In fact the best way to 'build ' your prospect list is to buy a really good quality hard back spiral bound notebook.
If you live in the UK, go to W H Smiths and buy a 'Black n Red' notebook. They are superb quality and it will give your prospecting a real sense of value. This has become the 'de facto' standard amongst successful VWD Affiliates so go get one! Later, in Step Two, we will show you how to expand this list into a huge and ever growing prospect bank using the 'FROGS' technique.

We will show you how to show your business to the initial list of 30 people using the telephone, email and combination of the Prospector in your back office and the fantastic recruiting DVD.
The aim is to give them enough information for them to decide if they would like to be involved in Virtual World Direct. It's important not to pre judge whether you think the business is for them or not - that decision is theirs to make, not yours. Your job is to simply give them the information.
Imagine this. What if you owned your own Gold mine that had unlimited Gold! A Gold mine where the more you dug, the more gold there was. Who would be the first people you would give a shovel to? Who would you pick the phone up to, and ask to help you dig?
Our guess is, everyone you know, with your family, close friends and relatives being at the top of your list! So treat your Virtual World business with the same attitude!
Remember, it is a sorting process. All we do, is ask people to have a look, and then invite there opinion!

Once you have sent your introductory email after either a telephone or an email pre-approach, the next step is to immediately enter their name and email address into the Auto Prospector in your Affiliate Area. The Auto Prospector will send out a series of professionally writtenhigh impact emails personalised so they appear to come from you. They will automatically follow up for you until your prospect decides to either join or unsubscribe! |

Prospecting using the telephone to make an initial approach is very effective followed up with a personal email from your self and a further follow up call. If you are using email to make your initial approach it is important to remember that you can't beat the personal touch. Don't hide behind your computer and follow up each of your prospects with a telephone call. Message Tag will inform you as soon as you're email has been read so 24 hours after that is a great time to call. Make sure you keep a list of all of your prospects that don't currently join you so that you can keep them informed of exactly how you're doing. In this business timing is everything and you never know when their circumstances might change. Remember your prospect is not necessarily saying 'no' to YOU , they are simply saying 'not at this moment', so keep them on your prospect list and stay in touch. |
