Affiliate Area Help - Module One, Customising and Personalising your Home Page
Congratulations and welcome to e-Lottery . The first thing you will have received is a welcome email from the company, and a welcome email from the person who introduced you, your sponsor. This will happen almost instantly, so check your inbox.
The email from e-Lottery will contain some vital information, including your guest login URL (a URL is like having your own personal 'web' address) and your password.
Your guest login URL will look something like this:
Where the x's are your own unique membership number and the 'AA' will actually be your own initials.
Your password will look like this 'lottoxx', where the x's are numbers allocated at random by the company so they are unique to you.
Remember this for later, you will need it to login to your private Affiliates Area.
The guest login URL which is unique to you, is where you will send your prospects and visitors to have a look at the e-Lottery opportunity, and the income potential. When they decide to join, the guest login URL ensures they are identified as your prospects and will be signed up as members of your team.
Step One - Your Own Guest Web Site
So that you understand what happens when a guest visits your web site, go to your own web site now by logging in to your own guest URL.
With Internet Explorer, or your favourite browser open, go to the address bar and type in the Virtual World web site address with your unique 5 digit number and your first and last name initials. This will look something like this.
Please note this address is for illustration purposes only and will NOT take you to a valid VWD Site.
Don't forget the forward slash "/" between .com and your number.
Now click ' Go', or hit the ' Enter' key on your keyboard
You can also go directly to your site by clicking on the link in the Welcome email!
Your screen will tell you that you are being redirected to guest page, and then your own web site will appear in your browser, with your name and welcome message at the top of the page.

Have a good look around, click all the buttons and make sure you know what they all do. We will come back to cover some of them in detail and how to use them to build your business, in later Modules.
Your prospective member can choose which language they wish to view the site, by clicking on the appropriate flag. Currently the site is translated into French, German, Spanish and Italian.
Step Two - Log On To Your Affiliate Area
Let’s get into your Affiliate Area, because there are a few things we need to change to make the process of telling people about your site easier.
What you are going to do first, is change your guest login number, to a name that will be easier to remember. So instead of www.v-w-d.com/your-number, you will have www.v-w-d.com/your-name or /a-name, or whatever you want, just keep it simple. You can use your last name, your initials or a unique or catchy name that you give your self like 'William Winner'. If you click on www.v.w.d.com/williamwinner you will go to a test site. Try it!
To log into the Affiliate Area and enter the back office of your site, click the 'Member Login' button at the top right hand side of the guest site.
You will now see the 'Member Login Screen'.
Enter your 5 digit member number and your unique password which will be something like "lottoxxx" (you will be able to change this password once you are in the site in 'My Details').
Enter the 4 digit 'Security Code Number' which will be different each time you login, then press the 'submit' button.
If you have entered your details correctly you will see this screen for a few seconds and then your 'Affiliates Area' screen will appear.

Step Three - Personalising Your Site
As you explore your Affiliate Area, you will see the 'Help' Icon displayed in the various areas that you visit. For help with the section you are visiting, click on the 'Help' Icon to be brought straight to the relevant section of the ........................................ www.elotterytrainingcentre.com
Click on the 'My Details' button and you will be taken to your personal log.
Your 'My Details' area contains your personal information and is the place where you customise certain aspects of your site.

You can change the apperance of the welcome message in the red bar at the top of your Guest Site home page by entering the details in the 'Company Name' section.
Check your personal details i.e. address, phone number and if any of this information is incorrect, ammend them now!
If you change your email in the future make sure you update the 'email' section with your new email address. This will ensure you continue to recieve emails from the company.
The same applies so your mobile number. Enter your number in the 'Mobile' section to ensure you recieve important SMS messages from the company.
Scroll down to 'Change Password' and enter your old password (the one supplied in your welcome letter 'lottoxxx') and enter and confirm your new password of your choice, in the fields provided.
Scroll down to 'Payment Details' and tick or untick the box 'If possible, debit VWD commission account' depending on your preference.
Most members opt to have their subscription deducted from their commissions.
Ticking the box now, means it will automatically switch from your Credit or Debit Card, once your commissions are high enough.
To change your Credit Card details click the blue link 'Change Card Details'.

The company takes a number of different Credit and Debit cards. Simply complete the form making sure you input all the information requested correctly and then click the 'submit' button. |
To change the payment method, simply click on 'Change Payment Method' and this page will appear.
You can choose to pay your subscriptions through credit/debit cards on-line, or you can pay through Click2Pay, Money Bookers, IMO Bank Draft, Telegraphic Transfer, Cheque or E-Gold.
To use the Click2Pay, Money Bookers and E-Gold you must first open an account with them direct, which you can do on-line on the relevant web site's
Scroll down to 'Commissions/Winnings' and choose the minimum amount you would like your commission or winnings to accumulate to, before a cheque is issued to you.
To change the settings on your guest page scroll down to ' Guest Page Settings'.
Choose which language you would like your site to open up in, what name is to be shown i.e. your name or a company name, and check the box at the bottom if you want your position title to show i.e. Group Affiliate/Senior Affiliate etc.
WARNING! Once you have changed and personalised your URL, don't change it again! If you have this address printed on labels, cards, flyers, and have put it in emails, and then change again, when your prospects come looking for the 'Old' address they won't find you because the server cannot redirect them to your site!
So that your Guests and Site Visitors have a website address that is simple to remember and easire for you to print on labels, you can customise your URL (Website Address) here.
You are effectively changing the membership number and initials for a catchier handle or name that appears after the forward slash (/). Make the change by typing it in the text box (grey field) Give the instructions a careful read, then click 'submit'.
To visit your guest site, enter your new guest login at the end of the VWD URL, like this /yourname, always remembering the forward slash (/)
Your full Guest URL will now look like this, www.v-w-d.com/yourname.
To direct visitors to your site, send them to your new guest URL. Have this address printed on all your stationary and Business Cards.
Nearly done! all that remains to do if you wish is to customise your guest page. This will place a link on your guest page so that your visitors can see a personal message from you, and a photograph!
Fame on the Internet at last!
Click on the blue 'Customise Guest Page' link If you want to upload your photo follow the instructions in 'Select a picture' field.
Enter your message in 'Enter Text' field'. This will be checked by the company before it is uploaded.
Please note: You will need a digital photo of yourself and an Image Editor, to ensure that the photo is the correct size.
Finally, check the boxes to confirm that you wish to receive emails from both your upline and the company as it is important to be kept up to date.
Check the final two boxes to confirm whether you wish to receive the UK or Euro Millions Lotto Game Results by email.
